Played with Helitranz the other day.
Toward the end of the clip, I enjoy the way the pilot isn't satisfied with his approach, and adjusts it 30mm anti-clockwise just before touchdown.
Wish I could do that in my flightsim...

You were up for flight cool.gif , as for your 30mm adjustment you can with rudder pedals but it would be hard to measure , i found the Aerosoft Huey prity close

When you become one with the machine you dont even think about little adjustments like that, they sort of just happen by themselves.

Very much so... I watched our pilot when he approached, and you could see he wasn't consciously doing stuff, merely adjusting the mechanical extensions of his mind:
Cyclic, collective, yaw - although of course there are different levels of skill.

There's a great clip somewhere, where the guy pops the top off a bottle with the skid.

Yeh I've seen that video, theres a few of them. I reckon it takes about 100 hours in each machine to start to get to that point. I'm just getting there now in the R44.
