Hiya

Yesterday Mum wanted to go meet my aunty when she arived yesterday so we got to go to NZCH, and her flight was an hour late so we gota go up to the viewing deck for an hour :P

Sadly I only noticed mum had the camera in her bag after half an hour lol

Heres some snaps:

Rwy 29 and 02 were in use, only a few aircraft came on rwy02 while we were there (C130, 733, A320 and 763)

If only the camera response was faster it would have been really good photo.^^

Sorry they arent the best quility. If you for some warpt reason actuly really like one I can email you a high res copy :D

A C130 did a really steep looking descent than threw itself down on to the rwy! I didnt think the pilot was actuly trying to land the poop plane. Sadly I didnt know mum had brought the camera with her when it came past...

I was very pleased when 763 came roaring past! Such a butiful creation

Enjoy

Cool pics Jimmy - unfortunately whenever I'm at NZCH I never see any good aircraft to photograph. :(

Nice photos Jimmy, you didn't happen to see the Qantas 744 down there a few weeks ago? It was interesting to watch her depart on the east/west runway, not the longest bit of tarmac in the world for a heavy beauty such as her. I'm sure I saw 400 sets of legs sticking out the bottom helping her along to get up to speed. :P

i suppose if the wind is strong enough and it was only going trans-tasman, it could do it.
