Hi guys,

well went out and took the plunge, brought a twin lens kit SLR, a Cannon EOS 500D with a cannon EFS 18-55mm lens and a Cannon EFS 55-250mm lens. have done a little bit of a fiddle, but nothing major, got to remember everything grandad taught me about apetures. iso's shutter speeds etc,

can you guys give me any tips apart from the go out and fiddle, i am already doing that and the results so far are good,

have never had a camera this good.

will give me something to do since my flightsim pc's bios croupted itself and i will have to buy a new one

cheers

Jason

Sounds awesome Jason, you'll have to give us a call when you're next headed out.

Easiest tip for plane spotting. Aperture Priority (AV), f8, ISO 100-200, and you're set.
