Great pics!..

There is a FSX a/c addon firm making a Super Cub that can do water skimming in FSX...so we should be able to replicate this soon.

the a2a piper cub can skim the wheels on water.

they might of 'invented' it but that doesnt mean they are the best at it!

I don't know about Alaska but I have some video here somewhere of Ag pilots in Africa having fun on their time off skimming down rivers 2 or 3 abreast.
I will have to have a hunt and see if I can find it and post a little of it.

There is also a South African Harvard formation team who do the same across a lake. The first I heard of this type of "skiing" was Ag pilots in Africa in the 80's flying Air Tractors and Thrushes
