Out with the new camera to try it out and managed to get some unusual aircraft. Most unusual was this Antonov An-2, which, despite its registration (Lithuania) normally takes parachutists from Sweden. Seen here on the approach to Stockholm Bromma airport on Saturday 18th July.

If anyone is interested, there is a HD movie here showing a nice crosswind take-off:-

smooth landings!

The AN-2 is a impressive site. I see them about 6 times a day down here in Cuba. There the only cuba aircraft allowed thru Gitmo's airspace. We have one here that we use for skydiving activities. Its a real treat when you get selected to go up and jump out of her. But the ride in the co-pilot seat is just as fun.
