Will put up real soon.

I can say now:
"I survived an Air France Airbus"
and
"I survived the A380"

One long day today.
Been on lots of planes and I am a bit sick of flying (the only time you'll ever hear me say this though "lol")

Well, Just as I promised, here they are.

First leg:
NZWN-NZAA.

Very early but excited start for me!

I got on the plane and there was massive amounts of what I though was ice on the window but it turned out to be water. So I couldn't see anything until during takeoff

I had no idea they had installed the windmills

A very cloudy day for New Zealand!

Believe it or not, about 3000ft and turning onto finals

Full flaps

Just hitting the cloud at around 1000ft

Only about 500m out from the runway

We touched down fast and used a lot of runway.
Full autopilot landing the pilots told me.
A bit of a tailwind I think as well. We came sooooo close to turning back. Luckily they were using 23L

Fog procedures in place. Only two aircraft allowed to taxi at one time.

It just got worse after we landed.
Must have been 100m at the most!

Well that was my first ever fog landing!

Well it was a dreary day in Auckland and the fog had cleared so I went up to watch my plane arrive.

A small line up for me

With a 75-300 you can get quite nice zooms

The two tails of the Tasman wars

I think if I remember correctly, something was up with the toilet cause there was a lot of attention surrounding this...

Longest aeroplane I've ever been on!

Auckkland - Singapore

After take-off

Not much over the Tasman so I waited until Brisbane!

But there's always something to see over Aussie - pity that it was hazy

More outback

Over Indonesia

An Active volcano in the distance

Sunset as we performed a hold

Finals at Singapore

My DSLR doesn't take very well to these sort of night photos

Upon landing we had what could only be described by a large swerve with the wing dipping down towards the runway. Maybe a slight crosswind?
