Here are a few photos from the flight with Sounds Air December last year.

Finally got round to posting quite a few of them on my website.
Special thanks to Craig, Andrew, Al Marshall and the other pilots who made this possible.
Took a while to get it together but we got there as everyone got comfortable.

Sure was a great sight from where I was sitting.

Just damn lucky its not the temps we have at the moment in Christchurch , Getting comfortable with machinery , understand , requirement - a forklift .... i keep thinking Bro-town .. Getta otta the way you dirty little buggers ! , well not quite , but formation flying .... never done it , but i guess i would slip in position better than the Bro's family car , the forklift ... .

Awesome pictures again Gavin. I really like the second and third ones.
Never really looked too much at the Caravan, it's quite sharp looking though. The Soundsair livery is nice even if it is a bit basic.

How many Caravans do they have in total? The recent jp airline fleets lists only 'SAA and 'PDM as current?

Love the C208 - there's a shiny American reg'd Grand Caravan in maintenance at Ardmore at the mo. Don't know the background on it but apparently it's 20 years old!

EDIT: Found pic here.

Sounds Air operate the three aircraft in the picture.
ZK-TZR is the latest and was purchased late last year and the picture below was taken a couple of days before the paint work was changed.

We set up this flight the day after the Christmas party when all three were at Omaka.
Set up a route to fly so the aircraft wouldnt be taken too far out of the way but provide a nice back drop and the results were very pleasing.
