to be corrected, now Antonov Airlines(that are subsidiary of Antonov constructor bureau) is ukrainian, but aircraft technology etc were designed in USSR. By the way full renew of aircraft(probably 70% of electronics and navigation are new, i mean were changed to recieve certificate of commercial plane) was made in Ukraine, when USSR were not existing. By the way second AN-225 is ready for 60-70%, it has ready center wing section, fuselage. But it still far away from end, especially in financial aspect. Just a bit later ill upload some photos of first An124(first prototype)

I hope the second AN-225 flies at some stage. In some ways we are lucky to have one flying at all - it was mothballed for a long time in the 90s, I think they even started parting it out for AN-124 spares at one point.

Thats even better ! sure you must have further pic off this wicked plane , in 1965 made its western debut a the Paris Air Salon , then was the largest aircraft in the world , and in typical Russian design a very unique design , with the contra-rotating props .. twin plate rudder tailplane cool.gif

First of all put some photos of smaller Antonov birds(An 74, An 140, An148) cuz An 22 tooks a bit more time to edit etc, also there were few interesting light aviation aircrafts(some Yaks, AN 28, and few other)

Wow blink.gif That's the most crazy thrust reverser/full flap combination I've ever seen. It looks so messy, like it's almost falling apart or something...

But I really love the AN74, one of my favourite Russian aircraft. I wish we had some flying down here in NZ!

I was rereading this thread and found that i have "debt", i promise to put photos of prototype of An-124, probably small bonus for big delay, first mass producted An-22(Also he has 3rd fin from AN-26, it was installed when An-22 was carrying the central wing section for Mriya from Middle Asia(probably Tashkent) to Kiev).
