I went and had a sit in it while it was parked at the Events Centre, impressive machine. It did a couple of circuits before departing VFR to the south.

I saw it too! Unusual sound, compared to the rescue choppers we usually get over my place.

We need to check the new gear in , Thanks to ZKIWI for the HU , Wigram tomorrow cool.gif

The flights to your wobbly town are on for tomorrow and Friday. Tomorrow they will be getting in between 1100 and 1130 at Burnham for an hour before heading to Christchurch airport ( deep freeze apron) for refuel before heading north again.

They may go thru Rangiora to drop you of the guys off at home.

Friday will be similar except around 1130 in the Air Force museum for an hour or so before heading to Christchurch for gas.

So tomorrow i head ! cool.gif

Very impressive Helicopter .. looks mean and it looks mean , missing tho the guns .. I asked for a ride home but currently only flight crew only ... tried a couple of times ..but Oh Well .. what amazed me was the rotor brake .. with the the inertia of a spinning rotor as big and simply just stops .. i was asked to remove my cap on it return home .. last thing i want was a fod ingestion at Wiggy and it my fault , heck of great day smile.gif
