Got a nice photo of a 747-400 on take off at Zurich airport. Nice that it is possible to go up onto the roof and get some good photo spots. I like this photo, it seems to say power and weight. Taken with a Panasonic Lumix camera and a 12 X zoom, hand held.

Very nice; seen a few photos on Airliners.net taken from that same position.

Zurich airport also arrange some special days when you can go down onto the grass where the runways intersect. They have a fenced area there and the noise and closeness when a 747 takes off is quite something. Definitely a place for more photo shoots!!
