for those that might be interested

a Greek 'Olympic Airlines' A340-300 just arrived at NZAA and has gone around to park at Gate5


I don't know yet where it will be parking - it had the Greek PM on board and he is changing planes so he can get into WN.

just thought someone might want a picture or two

I believe the Greek Premier met a little Wellington weather on landing down there...
And a snippet heard on the radio:
The Beehive Barista is Greek, and he was sneaked in at the end of the welcome line of cabinet ministers and notables, and stole the show by chatting away in Greek!

O yea i saw that on the news and he was talking to the greek coffe maker in the beehive :)

NQC brought the delegation down here. It arrived after curfew which will have really impressed the locals! I watched it depart today, that sound really takes me back to when I was a kid in CHC :lol:

Thanks for the heads up TG, any idea when it is departing back for Greece?

If it rumbles down the taxiway for a 23L departure, it would make a very nice photo opportunity indeed.

I think it has already left, the Greek PM was only here for 24hr
