Went down to the lake front this morning because I knew there'd be a couple of helicopters leaving at 10:30 or thereabouts - brought my camera (afterwards I went to the rescue helicopter open day - so it wasn't really luck I had my camera in the car I suppose... :P ), anyway - pictures;

Speeding up a little bit, the wind was a South-Westerly, so it went out for quite a bit then took off across my field of vision

IBA coming in from the airport (I saw it there as I drove into town)

It looked a bit unseemly a couple of times as it flew away from its pad

Empty again...

What I learnt was, don't ever try and take photos just about into the Sun! Looking down the jetty you are looking North-East, and as it was morning the sun was glancing off the water and going all over the place. I've had to tweak a couple of the images to get them to look ok :rolleyes: .

Thanks for looking,

Alex
