It show how small a fill it is at the mo , it will be combined covering all the problem airfields - as mention have not seen on standalone GODZONE-REALNZ-VLC , but simply make this file is the priority and I believe most people lumps and bumps should disappear. (FINGERS CROSS) .. and me toes smile.gif

If you want to get rid of all the ORBX from NZPP go to
FTX_NZNI_05_SCENERY/scenery

rename the following

ADE_FTX_NZNI_NZPP.off
ADE_FTX_NZNI_NZPP_CVX.off
ADE_FTX_NZNI_NZPP_Objects.off

I did have a WIP Waiheke Island helping Mike out , it was gorgeous but had serious issues , Mike built it with an up hill runway which was super sweet but kept getting crash errors outside the scenery box , Mike had them by I did not ... Waiheke did not progress from there and that was three years back.

It mentions in the thread below that Godzone Ashburton and Kaikoura have been made Orbx NZSI compatible but I can find any info on this on the Orbx forums. Is there a solution somewhere? I also cant find Ashburton to re-download - any body know where I can get this?

Ashburton and Kaikoura are both Vector Land Class airfields, and are available from the VectorLandClass website.
As such, they don't have 'built-in' compatibility with FTX, as it doesn't seem right to host FTX-related stuff on the VLC website. However from looking at the linked post above, it would be a good idea for me to sort out the various threads etc regarding compatibility of various airports. In the meantime, someone might have a ready-to-go solution.
A good place to start is to follow the suggestions in this post. You just need to identify the files which include an elevation component.

I've just checked mine, just to remind me what the problems are at these airfields. I do have an all-most working Ashburton, but I think this required discarding my elevations, and using FTX elevations, because of the huge difference in elevations. I'll see what it would take to get it 100% working.

Kaikoura is working for me, but I can't remember what I did to get it that way...

Theres a great freeware one on Flightsim called Waiheke X but the Orbx Waiheke is such a train wreck you can't use that or install the better one.

Paul this is one field that will be fixed to suit the VLC and ORBX , always seem to have LUMPS AND BUMP after the add this , add that .... then something else flares up ..

Kaikoura is sweet , simply so close to the ocean ORBX could make a cliff out off it ...

Basically the entire airport site elevation, If you install the addon, you lose buildings inside hills, the runway is sorta not really there and theres a weird fence. It's not an urgent, just a request for down the track if you get some time

Hi Ian,
After reading your post on NZPP, I checked to see if my elevations etc were AOK - fortunately they are..........
I did notice however that in the area of 'air to there' the shed is all gray, yet yours has the AIR TO THERE signage and colours etc.
The terminal behind is fine and has some animation, but what am I missing to get the same result as you unsure.gif ?

Would appreciate your comments
Thanks

Looking much better for me Ian, thanks!

I still notice a small cliff on the seaward side of runway 34- the aircraft is blocking that area in the screenshot which you've posted. Just checking I havn't missed something somewhere?

Also- not sure why I don't have that big Mitre 10 building sitting at the old diusued runway 29 threshold like you. Running FTX NZNI but might not have one of the sliders high enough, or might have removed it by turning the 3 Orbx .BGL's to .OFF's?

Oh, and +1 here interested to see NZAS and NZHK elevation fixed for FSX!

Hmm not sure there with your textures , those should not have been affected other than a bad install d/load or corrupted d/load , I wonder re-install will kick start those textures for you .
