The Great CHRISTCHURCH Autogen Recovery Program Will require a lot of attention , many thousand misplaced AGN's thanks to names not to be mentioned

The other huge task is replacing or simply shifting old autogen , this entire area is a mash of my base and update dated back from 2002, 2004 .

with a mixing of another know Heath Wells . The old annotator of days back was a nightmare but did produce good results , this an abomination that will be fixed .

All screens currently shown have been worked and moving in around areas that will have other special touch,s - airports , airfield,s

As shown above the photo was not adjusted properly by the need to be unnamed but a AGN fix , better than a woman,s makeup kit .

Look at that result .... Fixed .... must have been that 1.00 am shake this morning .

Coming through now its starting to look a little more the way we no the profile

Two shot s head towards the Banks Peninsular Heads , One off Christchurch,s Earthquake rough spots , so fixed it first

Course the rich live up there and i was payed dearly ....... I wish tongue.gif

Not going to be a five minute Job , I have been working in many other areas of this photo , good things take time .

Good one Ian. It will be great when this gets fixed. The current version looks ok at first glance but as you spend more time there is gets more and more annoying with the little discrepancies. In fact I now fly out of Wellington in preference to my home town. How sad is that?

Really looking forward to the completion of this project but am very happy too, to see you've made a solid start. thumbup1.gif

Cheers Thanks Greg , been twiddling away in small areas , what wound me up on this as a starting/completed point was testing 'Shade' , flew out to the heads and boy what a mess , be able to work on landmarks and point off interest , use as it a prototype to a new Christchurch .

I do know the area rather well, and if you want my professional opinion I wouldn't rebuild any autogen without absolute confidence that they wouldn't sink into the ground!! Actually maybe we could offer people an autogen version of their home or business building rather than spending the real money to fix them??!!!

Something tells me it wouldn't go down too well lol.

Be nice if our delightful Govt would supply us with a free photo of the area once construction and area cleaned up , be easy to remove housing as this would be pretty close ( accurate) maybe keep us Cantabs happy and give a free Hi-Res photo in the years to come .... YEAH RIGHT tongue.gif

Specific I targeted Wigram as the first airfield to work around , factories and warehousing , i could pick out some of my old work , the other tho ? blink.gif

The other major fingers crossed lets hope someone comes to the party is the recolour of the photo, as you can see a huge difference, requires the source file ninja.gif

The one thing i do like now is the VLC traffic tracking along the southern motorway and along Blenheim road . cool.gif

Since the the introduction of Orbx NZSI , the gable roof issue return , Doug decide he had enough and went to source a fix , course CHCH was atrocious

A decidedly much better AGN appeared , so i guess we can step forward and continue on to complete the photo area .

Doug , this is the industrial park in the NE side between Southern motorway and looks superb , Cheers . cool.gif

And what was to happen was placing off trees to form and define roads , Look s Great .
