I flew around ChCh checked out my friends property flew over my folks house landed at Rangiora airfield then flew over Oxford and across to the west coast took a while but was fun.
I tried the fighter but was to radical and moves to fast to see anything.
I did a Wellington flight as well flew from Wellington Airport to Upper Hutt to see where my sister lived..cool

Yeah there is something to be said for Googles little flight sim! thumbup1.gif

The fact you can fly anywhere in the world and have photo-realistic scenery, but no big download is a very interesting idea. Maybe the future of flightsiming? as the web expands, speeds and bandwidth increase, maybe it would be a very attractive way of accessing scenery in flight.

The runway slopes can be ridiculous sometimes! but sometimes they are pretty accurate, and in a way therefore more accurate than FSXs flat runways. If you want to see what I mean, try St Barts on Google Earth, then on Flight Sim (even with the addon scenery available). I think the GE landing is more true to life, because it accurately depicts the sloped runway.

Just make it a little more realistic like maybe panels, sound, modelled aircraft, and it would be awesome!

If only FSX could have the same detail.
It would be a sell out. drool.gif
