Hello,
my name is Etiennne and I'm member of the demoteam of the Belgian Flight Simulator Club. I mostly fly VFR over Europe and thanks to the wonderfull scenery from ORBX also over the UK and Wales. I would like to fly with both my Cessna and the King Air 200 from Carenado over NZ, Australia and Tasmania, also off-course in combination with the wonderfull ORBX scenery. The problem is that , over here in Europe, we cannot find any Jepessen VFR charts coverign this area. Could someone please help me out, so I can use this during our demonstrations at belgian Aeroclubs. many thanks beforehand

Hi Etiennne and welcome to NZFF , I am currently adjusting new 2007 IFR charts that can be used , I do have a set VFR charts that can also be scanned and modified to suit an A4 folder , these would need to have a new legend so to find yourself in the sim and when you turn the page . These are for New Zealand only , for Australian maps you might want to ask at the OZx forums http://aussiex.org/forum/index.php?/index .

Hello Ian, thanks for this fast reaction and usefull hints. I do not know why or how, but the link to the FS2004/FSX navigation maps does not work. Would it be possible to you to email me these 9 sheets so I can print them . My email adress is : egoedgezelschap@netscape.net. Many thanks beforehand and it is really a good feeling that simmers are still prepared to help eachother in contrast to our politician. Kind regards. Etienne

Etienne - the links to the flightplans for that tutorial seems to be dead. Possibly the member who created them has removed them from his own webspace. I am not a member of VATPAC, so I cannot see everything on their website. For example, there is a flight planner tool, but it seems to be for registered members, not visitors like me.
SkyVector is a good resource, and if you look here:
http://skyvector.com/?ll=-37.975833333,145...=301&zoom=3

you should see a VFR chart covering the route YLTV-YMMB-YMEN.
I will help where I can, but I will not be able to do much until Thursday. You can send me a private message within the forum, if you like. It is not a good idea to include a working email address in an open forum post.
Just use the pull-down menu beside my username at the left. It will show when you put the cursor over it.

Mike
