Hey guys. How's it going?
I found a lot of time to recently and came up with a 'little report' yesterday.
On friday I flew AKL-SFO on the 773 and thought why not going back to Europe? So I decided to go on LAX-LHR.
Once I got FSdreamteams LAX and UK2000 EGLL I started my flight planning.
Since I'm struggling with the PSS Posky merge I decided to fly the LEVEL D 767 in a fictive All Blacks look.
Ok here we go.
NZ 2 KLAX-EGLL (1st time flown)
FsPax told me, we had 118 passengers aboard today, which is about 59% of what we can carry.
Our ETD was 09:30am and we took off 6 minutes late 9:36
We planned to fly about 10h20mins and so we would have arried in London around 3:50am+1.
But we had a kind wind and arrived already at 3:19am after 9:43h of flight.
For the flighttime of 10h20mins +1h reserve I planned to use 70.15t of fuel at max. We all know LHR traffic, so better have a bit reserve!
weights:
Take off weight: 178.7t
88.5t aircraft weight
9.4t cargo weight
70.1t fuel
10.0t of souls aboard!
Weather briefing: We have a bit of head wind (3kts) in LAX and it is overcast. No rain and good visibility with 21°C. I don't expect anything unusual.
London reports a bit of wind 6kts from 240 and 13°C with good visibility and moderate shear winds at 3000. No rain either.
Enroute: We will jump on the stream at FL330 expecting tailwinds between 30 and 60kts. No thunderstorms or turbulences expected.
Though we won't be able to see much as it will be cloudy below us for the entire flight. No Greenland
And our route in words: LOOP6 DAG J100 NORRA J107 DDY J158 ABR J32 DLH J533 YQT YAN YMO YFM
YKL J548 YDP PRAWN 5900N 5000W 5900N 4000W 5800N 3000W 5700N 2000W
PIKIL SOVED NIBOG UN551 BEL UL10 WAL UY53 NUGRA
Let's go.
