Hello

I'm starting this thread in the hope that people will post detailed IFR plans here, including charts, real SIDs and STAs.

I find things like this hard to find since I don't have any FMC's in my aircraft.

I enjoy flying detailed realistic flight plans and the fs flight planner really lacks the ability to do this. I look forward to sharing IFR flights with you all.

Thanks

http://www.aip.net.nz/ for charts, sids stars and other info. Select Aerodrome Charts, then if you want the routes, select Standard Route Clearances.

OR for all in one place:

If you want charts for anywhere in the World, go to http://www.vatsim.net/prc/ and click the Vatsim chart centre for relevant links.

I'm impressed with the "NZ preferred routes" page linked to by Matt, well done him.

I usually fly NS-WN when I try out new A/C, or WN-CH for heavier aircraft.

My favourite (well most flown) would have to be NZCH-NZWN in a 737, A320 or 763 (763 mostly :P )

Last sunday I flew NZAA-NZCH NZCH-NZAA then NZAA-NZRO it's a great flight between Auckland and Christchurch like you say trolly :D

But of course any sort of transtasman is the best just time doesn't always allow.

btw I flew a 744 from Seattle to Salt Lake City on Saturday and it was really neat, then I flew a 722 from there to San Francisco! I never knew Salt Lake was soo BIG

I tend to be NZWN - NZAA - NZWN, NZWN - NZCH - NZWN, they are the routes I fly most in real life.

KLAX - KLAS - KIAH - KJFK return is fun in a 777, such a diverse range of scenery and weather over the states, its also a route I have flown in real life.

Another is EGLL - EDDW - EGLL. Once again nice scenery and with Bremen scenery and enhanced Heathrow with max AI, its a great flying experience at peak times.

If your pc can handle it, otherwise you may not be quite so happy after the flight haha

I usualy keep away from places like EGLL and KLAX simply for performace issues.....

btw has anyone tried the eham-egll mission in fsx yet? its quite fun, not what youl be expecting! although I didnt get any more than 6fps for the whole flight <_<
