My Wises touring map said there was an Albatross colony near Dunedin, which seemed as good an excuse as any...

Bye, fellas!

A Lyttle place

A bigger place

Can't see any whales out there...

Didn't see the mountain, either...

And then I realised I couldn't make New Plymouth, never mind Auckland, and had to divert to NZWN.
Probably should have reduced from full rich after Dunedin, not about abeam Kaikoura. wub.gif

'Propliner' is actually short for 'Proper airliner, with big rumbly radials'

What I like is, the DH91 entered revenue service a few months before the HP42 was withdrawn. So you could have seen both on the apron at Croydon. That's progress.
