Feel like recreating a real world NZ route? Try this:

First you will need Mike's iceberg addon. Once you have downloaded it, set your weather to 'real world', plonk yourself in your favourite plane or heli, go to Dunedin and take off. Head towards the east coast, and out to sea in a South West direction. Try and stick to about 1500-2000 feet, and continually scan the horizon. Within about 20 minutes (cruising at 150kias), you should be able to make out the ice field, marked by a wide spread group of large pointing iceberg tips. Circle them, low and slow for the benifit of your passengers , then return home to your base.

The complete round trip took me 50 minutes in ZK-MIF (The Carenado Cessna 206), which I bought over from Wanaka especially for this occasion. Here are some screenshots I took:

It seems all the action is down here at the moment. Icebergs,missing gliders and bushfires, and yesterday someone in a Gyrocopter went flying past my house at about 50ft! (He was above the water,my house is next to the water)

A very warm welcome to all you folks who make the effort to fly down here to Dunedin. What I call NZ's best kept secret!
A lot of people think Dunedin is cold and rainy! We actually have one of the lowest rainfall stats in the country, way lower than Auckland.
As for the cold, well yes it can get cold,but you get rewarded with snow to enjoy, and some even can't get to work on those days because of it! Damn! and schools close for the day. I hate the cold but you soon acclimatize in about 1 month and it really is not that bad. It is cold enough to have very few flies and mozzies and the best wildlife in the country living side by side with the people.
This afternoon I discovered I have two pet Eels in my creek! I have named one John after the Ozzie rugby player and the other, Id love some suggestions! I cut a piece of dog roll and chuck it in the shallows and wait for them to smell it, about a minute and then they both turn up and consume. They are both about 2 feet long so about half grown. I've seen others in the same spot before that have been twice as big. I always see them in January, I'm told they migrate to near Fiji every year!
The ice burgs have finished for now, but it's cruise ship season now and I've been keeping an eye on them. In the middle of the Otago harbour is Quarintine Island and some of these ships are like the same size looking from some angles! This Island is a working sheep farm,not exactly small, a small sheep farm but a decent chunk of earth!

there are such scenerys that give you a good taste of godzone ,look at dunedin,timaru,wellington,turangi,queenstown,there are so many freeware ones that robin and many others have built together ,then go to godzone and buy the real deal nz ,,dont forget to visit rbe site for mesh and nz landclass ,
with such talent in new zealand your sim will never look or feel empty
