You referring to the T Mk.IX that Doug Brooker recently bought? I'm not even aware of there being an accurate Model out there to base it on - his spit has the inline dual canopy conversion (known as the Grace/Melton canopy conversion) rather than the original T Mk.IX "piggy back" placement of the second canopy...never seen a model out there like that (and believe me, I've looked)

Well, ACTUALLY, AF Scrub has a doublepack of Vickers and Grace/Melton-canopied Spitfire T.IXs at FlightSim.com, "spitfir9t.zip". Not sure how easy it'll be to repaint as Doug's ZK-WDQ, but I'll see what I can do! Basic model, but still, it's all thats out there! Keep an eye out winkyy.gif

Yeah, sweet Zac - I found that Spit model a while back too...never did anything with it tho...

FWIW I'm thinking of doing some more NZ related Spitfire repaints for the FSX RealAir package once I get my "AL" repaint out the door, and the next one I'll have a go at is a copy of MH367, Doug Brookers aircraft. Though since RealAir only provided a single seat model it won't be quite the same as the current (non-)flying aircraft...

Good thing about the RealAir spit is that they provide a really nice paint kit, full of layered photoshop files...makes it really quite easy even for a repaint n00b like me!! smile.gif
