Hey all!
Due to work on R/W machines VVFNZ has had a bit of a slow period, but many thanks to Trolly for uploading Jasta 11 for me. I now have broadband, so things will only get bigger and better.
I have a few projects on the go ATM, and some more in the pipeline, but I'd like to know what you all would like to see. Bear in mind that, for the vast majority, my work is concentrated on pre-1970 aircraft, and then either ex-military or true classics - so you probably won't see me do the Marlborough Aero Club's Cherokee, but you may find their Cub ZK-ERB....
More of the Aviation Heritage Centre WW1 machines are on the way, but also some more modern warbirds are coming - Hurricanes, Me-109/Buchon, Corsair to name a few.
If you do have a request, please PM or post as I'd be glad to oblige. I'm only doing freeware aircraft ATM due to all my cash going toward my PPL and replica project, but I may consider paywares later.

Hi Zac
I am not sure whether these are all at Omaka and you may already have some of these underway but my wish list would include NZ repaints of the following:
Rick Piper's superb Chipmunk (V3)
Dave Eckerts Sopwith Camel & Stearman
Aeroplane Arts Bristol Fighter.
Default J-3
Cheers

Hey Paul!
Chipmunk - which scheme? James Slade's one, N861WP, was based here up until about a month ago - the silver RAF machine.
Camel - not contemplated as there's already one of Peter's (ZK-JMU) available for another freeware Camel.
Stearman - again, which would you like to see? We don't have one here permanently, although there is talk of one by next year.
Brisfit - planning on both schemes the replica has worn, as well as the original currently at Hood.
J-3 - Once more, which scheme? Looking at doing a freeware Super Cub as ZK-ERB (Marl. Aero Club) and ZK-BTP (private, beautiful restoration), perhaps the default one as Pat Donovan's Omaka-based L-4 Grasshopper?

I am coming more from what nice freeware a/c that are out there (and based on your criteria) that need some NZ treatment but the Chippy would be my No 1.
I am not really fussed what scheme as long as it is NZ rego or based - a nice silver Chippy based in NZ would be nice though but I guess it comes down to whatever is handy to you.
You may as well hold off any possible Stearman repaints if one maybe on its way to Omaka.
Cheers

Excellent ideas! Re Stearman, good idea. Considering most of the Kiwi Chippies would be good, but for the most part they'll be based off whatever pics I can scrounge. If I had my way/the time/the cash, EVERY NZ-based warbird/antique/veteran/vintage/classic/replica would be represented in FS! I'll work toward that goal, though!

Zac. Definitely get a cub repaint done, the MAC one would be fine (I had a look through it last weekend in fact). There's an unfortunate lack of NZ cub repaints.

You were here last weekend and didn't tell me!!!?
Anyways, I'll forgive ya - keen to do a Cub repaint as several folks want to take ERB around Omaka.
