Hi guys,
As is common around this time of year, many members, including some moderators, will be beginning university courses and have new full time work commitments meaning there will be only limited time left to spend on NZFF.
'Mattnz' will be vacating his positions from the Aircraft, Forum Community Discussion, and Off Topic sub-boards, and I myself will am looking for volunteers to cover any of the boards that I'm currently moderating (except General and FCD).
If you are interested in joining the team, please send me a PM stating which of the above sub forums you would like to moderate, and the reasons that you think you are a good candidate for that above position(s).
Please note, we expect you to be a fairly well known member of the NZFF community when applying, whom other members know and trust when posting. We would also like you to have good knowledge of the subject of the sub forum that you would like to cover.
Moderating isn’t a hard or time consuming job at all, all it will require you to do is read through any new posts made, and make any corrections if necessary. This includes actions such as editing big spelling errors or BBCode, deleting or moving a topic to another forum if appropriate to the subject, and pinning or unpinning important topics. This will be made easy to do with a drop down box you will find at the bottom of every post once the moderation status has been transferred to your member account.
Cheers for your support!
Andrew
