Hi all,

Trolly here- back from the UK, and back to my old duties as NZFF Admin. Thanks very much to Mattnz for writing up and sending out the newsletters while I've been away.

Righteho, first on the agenda then: This month's big freeware release comes from Blu Sky Mine Productions in the form of their stunning BAe ATP turboprop aircraft for FS2004. View preview screenshots here, then download the model package, which includes a pushback tug, GPU, wingviews, as well as fictional Air New Zealand and Vincent Aviation repaints, here.

In other big news, Robin has announced that while work on REAL NZ Auckland International Airport is on hold, he has started on a brand new scenery project- NZCH Christchurch International for FSX! There are already some very impressive preview screenshots showing the aero club area on the news page at windowlight.co.nz which are well worth a look. Don't forget to check back there for more updates of the rest of the complex in the future!

And a special note for all those 'real world aviation' enthusiasts in the Auckland region- next weekend, on the 7th December, Ardmore Airfield is holding it's Pearl Harbour open day. This will include the opportunity to get up close and personal with the locally based warbirds, take cheap trial flights with AAC, and watch some aerial displays over the field between 1.30 and 2.30pm. Download and read the official flier here, then check out this thread to see which NZFF'ers will be attending.

Also, if you happen to be experiencing issues with staying logged in to the forums, try Timmo's solution: Firstly, click the 'Delete cookies set by this board' link on the main page, then check that if you have a desktop shortcut/bookmark/homepage link placed to NZFF, that it points to 'http://nzff.org/forum/' and not our old URL. This seems to have done the trick for quite a few members already.
Lastly, as this will be the final newsletter of 2008, I'd like to take the opportunity to wish you all a Merry Christmas and happy holiday season- the boards may seem a little quieter at this time of year, which is expected with the glorious summer weather outside and an apparent drought of frequent new releases for FS, however, don't forget to drop by and vote for the November Screenshot Competition winner, enter the December one, and post any questions or stories you have to share!

Cheers for now,
Andrew and the NZFF Admin Team.
