Howdy,

Ever since the move to the new address, I've been having problems staying permantly logged-in. I have cookies enabled, so logging-in once should do the trick; however, after leaving the site and returning later, I am asked to log-in (yet) again.

Yes, I have Opera set to flush the Cache after closeing, but this does not include deleteing cookies (otherwise I would have to log-in to every other Forum I subscribe to and, well, that ain't the case ... ).

Any suggestions? Is this happening to anyone else?

Enquiring minds would really like to know.

Interesting. Hmmm. I have Firefox and the permanent login seems to work fine for me (since the move). Do the NZFF cookies work in any other browser? Try changing your password to see if it "kicks something off"!

I had the same thing

ensure you have deleted your cookie (which I had but I was still getting it)

AND update your shortcut! I was using an old shortcut which still directed me to the new board but made me login everytime.

So some quick checks to do. smile.gif

Make sure you're going to nzff.org, not the temporary link we used for a couple of weeks back in July (like Tim said). smile.gif

If still no luck something to try is.
  1. Log into NZFF
  2. Click on the "Delete all cookies set by this board" link (just under the teamspeak picture near the bottom of the main page)
  3. You should then be automatically logged out.
  4. Add nzff.org to your 'Trusted' list of sites (with regards to Cookies/Privacy)
  5. Log back in.

Fingers crossed that might work. winkyy.gif

When checking your forum it looks like it's trying to create a session ID for guests. Probably worth checking with the IP guys as to your installation settings (or at least going over your cookie settings). So, I would say it's more of a cookie problem, whereas here it was a member problem, as the cookies weren't being applied as people were not technically "at" nzff.org.... but I don't want to start an IP.Board support thread here, and wouldn't be able to comment anyway without knowing more about your setup. laugh.gif
