You may notice that all of a sudden, golden ‘pip’ squares have appeared under the avatars of a select few NZFF members. This is due to a small update me and Alex have made in the Admin control panel to more clearly define member ranks.
The 6 golden pips indicate that the member is in the ‘NZFF Pro’ member group, the highest possible rank you can ascend to while posting topics and replys on this site. The golden colored pip is intended to stand out and define the members with most experience, something to aim for perhaps.
In case you didn’t know, below is a complete list of member groups with the accompanying number of posts you must have made to automatically change to.
Newbie: 0-9 posts (1 blue pip)
Member: 10 posts (2 blue pips)
Forum Addict: 150 posts (3 blue pips)
Sim-holic: 500 posts (4 blue pips)
Senior Member: 1000 posts (5 blue pips)
NZFF Pro: 2000 posts (6 golden pips)
Don’t take any notice of the actual system of ranking- it is only a bit of fun, and the golden post is just a little visual reward for those who have taken lots of their own time to make a large contribution to our community
