Thanks guys. Yeah turning 30 was fine but 40's a bit depressing. I'll need one of them fancy twin bladed jobbies to blow this many candles out.

Got a really nice unintended surprise though. A pilot friend of mine is building a kitset helo called a Safari. It's based on the Bell 47. He was looking at using an Robinson R22 floorpan as the base and has 3 fuselages in his hangar. Each one in various states of condition.

Anyway with his existing airworthy plane and other various fixed wing bits and pieces he needs some room. Now Mr Bandit sir would you like to take one of these R22 fuselages off my hands? I want the best floorpan of the 3 but you can have one of the others and any of the bubbles you want. Free. Be good for that computer thing you muck around with.

So I've just scored a nice home pit project. Don't know where I'll put it yet but I'll worry about that later eh. This will be a very long term project, but at least I've got the main starter parts and access to other machines for measurements if req'd.
Testers are born to fiddle. What does this button do? Oh! Never mind.....

Thanks guys it was a wicked day I worked till 0800 on Sunday went home had a shower got changed and went straight back up to the hangar to help prepare for the Open Day plenty of people turned up to show there support which was great and at closing time we all sat back and relaxed as the Chopper tracked to Whakatane for a retrieval later that night we all headed out for dinner and drinks come Monday morning I was serverly hung-over and had to be back at the hangar to shout morning tea.
