Hot off the press: Deane Baunton has released a Beta version of his long awaited Walter Turbine powered Fletcher topdressing aircraft for both FS2004 and FSX. If you liked his original FU-24, then you will absolutely love this one! For more information and the download link, click here.
Robin Corn has also released a tiny update for payware REAL NZ Auckland FSX users, which excludes the default city buildings and Harbour Bridge so you won't see double ups after installing the photoreal scenery. The free patch, and many more FAQ's can be found here.
One of our forum members, Nick Botica, has given into numerous requests from NZFF'ers to create kiwi liveries for the popular FeelThere Cessna Grand Caravan model. His two awesome SoundsAir and Air2there repaints can be downloaded from avsim here at just over 7mb a piece, and will compliment the upcoming REAL NZ Paraparaumu fs2004 scenery nicely.
Another well known forum member, Lawrie Roache, has been busy creating addon airports to fit with the new photoreal Coromandel Peninsula mentioned in last months newsletter. Each one includes realigned AFCAD's to fit the new terrain, plus surrounding buildings and hangers. So far NZCX and NZTH have been published at avsim, with NZWT and NZUN coming soon!
Something that I forgot to mention in the last newsletter was the opening of a new Reviews sub forum where you can read and write review articles of flight simulator addons and expansions. We had much interest in creating this special area before it was opened, however, since it has been online, no new posts have been made. We encourage everyone to have a crack at writing your own review of your favourite aircraft or scenery, and get this subforum filled up. On the other hand, if there is still no interest by March, we will close it down.
Also, for those of you having trouble posting youtube videos, we have had to change the code for which you upload them. Instead of copying the whole URL into the {video} tags, you now only copy the last few letters after the "v="Â like this:
