Does anyone here use Firefox web browser? I can't seem to get NZFF to "remember me" and I have to log in every time. This means every time I do log in, I have three or four pages of "new posts" to pick through to find things that really are new to me.
I use firefox no problem with other invision boards and they remember me. Just wondering if anyone else has this problem?
I might need to look at my settings somewhere perhaps..

I use Firefox with no problems. Check Tools , Options , Privacy , Passwords , View saved passwords. You may have two instances of the forum there or an incorrect password. Delete the entries, and elect to remember the passowrds next time you log in perhaps?

I am in the process of trying to use firefox over IE. Most viruses target IE and all sorts of rubbish clogs your system by downloading things without you knowing, and this is on top of the usual spyware we are aware of with IE. Firefox does not do this .If you are into RSS feeds then firefox is also the one to have. I am still using both only because old habbits die hard.In time I expect to be using nothing but Firefox I just need to spend more time familiarizing myself with it.

Sorry I can't help with your problem,I only know enough to say 'stick with Firefox'.

Jim, try to use google to find information as elementary as that. If you have a look here, you'll see how easy it is:

Jimmy, Mozilla is far, far, far better than IE!

First I upgraded to MYIE2 (now known as Maxthon) which was a huge advance, with many more features and added security, and then I discovered Mozilla Firefox which is the best browser to exist. period.

It is known worldwide to be the most easy to use and most secure. It is the predescor of Netscape, and anyone can build a "plug in" for it (It is open source software), therefor there are hundereds of skins, fancy features and updates.

Download it here: www.mozilla.com/firefox

P.S.

Baaa, Micosoft BETA's... I wouldn't touch it with a ten foot poll. Full of bugs I suspect, plus has an issue with fs2004 I believe?

I think I will start a poll, Mozilla vs IE :ph43r:

Howdy,

Much prefer Opera, meself. Been a loyal fan since the mid 1990s, and now that it's freeware, again ... :D

Ditto
Have to chuckle at people extolling the features of their browser, like tabbed browsing and download management etc. Opera has been quietly doing things like that for a long time.

Yes, the kneeboard, but its easily resolvable. Just go to your FS root folder (by default its; C:/Program Files/Microsoft Games/Flight Simulator 9) and delete or rename 'oleacc.dll'. I did that about 4 months ago and have had the original problem fixed, and no additional other ones pop up because of the file rename. ;)
