Hi guys,
You may have noticed the home page of NZFF looking a little different lately, with a few changes in our moderation team having taken place.
Zöltuger has unfortunately had to stand down from all of his positions due to University and full time work commitments. ZK-KAG has also notified me that his university course is taking up increasing amount of his time and he would rather return to being a regular forum member, rather than looking after two sub forums. Both of these guys have been great help to our online community, and I thank them very much for the time they have spent in the moderating team, however their reasons for standing down are both legitimate and understandable. Keagan also ensures me that he will continue to stay around and post regally here
Thankfully Naki (Paul), HardCorePawn (Jared) and Creator2003 (Mike) have accepted to look after the Screenshots, Technical Issues and FS Videos sub forums, in respective order.
Anyway, this still leaves the following positions opened up:
Aircraft = 1 moderator needed
Flights = 1 moderator needed
Real World = 2 moderators needed
Off Topic = 2 moderators needed
FSX = 1 moderator needed
If you are interested in joining the team, please send a PM to either myself, Alex or Robin stating which of the above sub forums you would like to moderate, and the reasons that you think you are a good candidate for that above position.
Please note, we expect you to be a fairly well known member of the NZFF community when applying, whom other members know and trust when posting. We would also like you to have good knowledge of the subject of the sub forum that you would like to cover.
Moderating isn’t a hard or time consuming job at all, all it will require you to do is read through any new posts made, and make any corrections if necessary. This includes actions such as editing big spelling errors or BBCode, deleting or moving a topic to another forum if appropriate to the subject, and pinning or unpinning important topics. This will be made easy to do with a drop down box you will find at the bottom of every post once the moderation status has been transferred to your member account.
Alex, toprob and I are also ready and willing to help out if you have any worries or questions about this.
Thanks for your support!
