I think that's the Google search engine archiving the pages...possibly...

Google Spiders - they troll websites stealing our stuff and making the women-folk stand on tables....

Yep, it archives the information here for use on its search engine. We can turn off the setting that shows them in the members list - but they'd still be there. winkyy.gif

Ah ok, sweet as. Was wondering if it was that, but wasnt sure if it would show up on the member online list.

Was that setting turned off then on the last board ,because ive never seen it logged in like that ,id rather see it go ,i hate seeing goggle.com everyday on the user list like i hate seeing my own user name ,
i know it does it fine ,but its like big brother is always there waiting to grab your words and post them to the world or something ,id just rather not know

I know what you mean -- there are normally a couple of search engines rummaging about in my Store, Google pops in once a week, and Yahoo spends about half the time in there, but neither buy anything. sad.gif
However, there is one reason why I like to see Google in there -- the search feature on the forum isn't perfect (try searching for 'fsx'), and uses a lot of server horse-power to run, so relying on Google makes a lot more sense.
Try it -- just add 'site:nzff.org' to your google search and it will just search here -- the Google format includes just a short quote from the post, so you can scroll through them much faster than the forum's results.
