Just thought id mention that it no longer works, going to www.nzff.co.nr will give you a message saying the site has been suspended.

This invisionfree.com link still works fine..

Whats hapend with the .co.nr link? Whsy it been suspended?

As you should know the nzff.co.nr was been "suspended." Yet it is still easy to get into. My question is how do you get in with that link gone.

My way is to go from the subscription link in my email and click on JonARNZ's picture to get to "main menu"

Share your way to get in.

The link will be fixed soon, try http://z11.invisionfree.com/nzff/ and http://www.nzff.uni.cc/ in the meantime!

We were required to place a image link with the text saying "Sponsored by" on the main page rather than in a thread, which has now been fixed and the URL will be working again soon :D

See this thread for more info: http://z11.invisionfree.com/nzff/index. ... topic=2835

thats a little odd... given that their page says:

"No banners or popup ads, actually, NO ANY ADS at all"

EDIT: aha... but then in the TOS they have the:

"LINK TO CO.NR WEBSITE : ABSOLUTE REQUIREMENT"

section :)

i didnt even know there was a .co.nr address! All this time, I just type Z into the address bar, and z11 nzff comes up. Its quicker than going, bookmarks, games, flight simulator, nzff

I have a button on my IE Links toolbar.
It says:
NZFF
I don't have a clue what the machine language behind it is, and don't really care.
I must've put it there, and I'm sure I can again if needs.

I just type out the z11.invisionfree.com/nzff when I'm at a 'foreign' computer. Not too hard to remember and it works

.co.nz domains aren't free, mine cost $36, through Openhost. They also do my hosting, which is about $5 a month, I see it's now $6.99 a month for the basic plan.

So, it costs $36 then about $84 a year. There are other cheaper providers but I find Openhost to be very good to deal with and reliable.

I guess though you could keep the site on Invision just use the co.nz url as a redirect...

NZFF.co.nz is already reserved, for the New Zealand Film Festival!

The .co.nr link is up and running now, we just added a .gid link to their page at the footer of the template (see at very bottom)

why have you renamed this topic, and put my post at the top? :o

O well I don't particuly mind, I don't get to concernd about such little things :P

I like the sound of a .co.nz, stopid film festival. 80buks isn't too bad a year, im sure many here would donate.. It's about 20 cents per member, if you includ those who havnt been back since last april

This one? It has just been moved to the correct sub forum from General to Forum Community Discussion.
