Hi all,

Normally I surf NZFF on my own computer, but this afternoon, when I entered the NZFF URL on my Dad's computer and looked at the online users list, I saw something that shocked me:
user posted image

My name was on the active users list, but I had not been online since much earlier in the morning, and think someone must have hacked my account :o

There are no saved password cookies on this PC I am on now, and I was a browisng guest at the time I took that screenie. I logged on in the usual way, and I am here writing this post myself now, but if you see any other posts by 'Trolly' that don't appear to be written in my usual manner- then it's not me...

Mod but not admin as Trolly is no longer one. ;)
Easiest thing to do to secure your account imho would be to change your password. :)

Alex

EDIT; Its not possible that you left your browser open at NZFF on your PC is it?

Sorry guys, it looks like I over reacted a bit today, with all the forum security buisness going on at the moment.

As suggested, I have changed my password on the safe side, and have had no troubles for the rest of the day here, so all is well :)

Its not possible that you left your browser open at NZFF on your PC is it?

I don't think so, as the only other time I have needed to use my Dad's PC was when I was having trouble with my DVD drive booting up. When I logged in up there, I did not tick 'remember me' as I did not think I would be using his PC again, but needed to this morning with my mouse scroll wheel playing up.
