Cheers, Nick, have a great one. I'll raise a glass or two this evening to mark the occasion.

Thanks chaps. I'm based in the US permanently now. The missus and I tied the knot back at the start of October and we're working with immigration lawyers to get me a work permit now. Birthday was a trip to the kart track next to Hillsboro (KHIO) for a day of racing. I'm not Stirling Moss but I enjoy myself.

Well congratulations on tying the knot. I got married in October. It wasn't until we reached the US that we realised that we had got married on Haloween.
Do you have any work lined up over there?
Take care tonight....things could get a little crazy if the Orange Manchild loses.

Well congrats to too, thats brilliant. I've got feelers out with some industry contacts. Alaska is probably the go first off. Got a couple of companies that want me to get in touch when I've got my work permit. The beauty of working up.there is that everybody wants the missus up there too because of her A+P and we can take our dog daughter. Will probably have that sorted by March or April

Excellent news.
I should have clarified that I got married in October 1987. :D lasted 11 years.

Wow another year flipped by.
Last year you were sampling European skies and thinking about getting some nice flightsim titles.
Guess what? This year you are so spoiled for choice!
Have a great day Dean, and go spoil yourself!

Late to the birthday party - hope you have a good year!
Following last week's Big Surprise in the US, I am thinking Alaskan oil drilling is the place to be...

Soloy Helicopters were interested last year and they do a lot of drill rig shifts. Might not be me quite yet though. I need to improve my skills. Bering Air or Maritime Helicopters might be where I go.
