Merry Christmas team

Postby Splitpin » Sat Dec 22, 2018 7:29 pm

Yet another year draws to an end..... and it's the summer solstice, 15 hours of daylight down here. Just a shame it's all overcast and gloomy.
Anyway, all that stuff aside, 2018 could have been a little kinder ...but it wasn't, and that's that.

I want to thank you all for your support and friendship over the last 12 months.
Have a happy, Safe, and relaxing Christmas.

I lift a glass to you all ..... cheers  Merry Christmas.

Cheers, Marty. What do you have planned over the holidays?
Yeah, 2018 was a pain in the calendar, but I knew that going in. The same way I know that 2019 will be a lot better.

Don't have much planned Rob....not being fully employed, the holidays don't mean much.
Will spend Christmas day with my old Mum and a few others.
I'm looking after a farm (well 20 acres) for the people my partner works for, for a week from today.... which involves 2 hours or so a day.
They have Alpacas, beef cattle, goats, and chooks ...my kind of work :) and they pay well.

Other than that my friend .... not much.

Solstice! That explains why it felt like such a loong day :)
Actually summer only sort of arrived the other day, I think our planet is throwing a wobbly.
2018? As that pilot famously commented: well we walked away from another one!
Can't help but count the blessings...

Happy farming Marty, Merry Christmas everybody, and Happy Holidays everyone else!

Charl ...it was a bad day on the farm :(
I had a major escape .... about 50 or 60 chooks did a runner when I forgot to shut a gate.
It took me ages to lure the remaining escapees back to the pen...still unable, at this time, to confirm that all inchooks are indeed back in camp.

Merry Xmas and compliments to all NZFF members.
My Xmas will start on Boxing Day as the 25th disappears between the 24th, when I leave Buenos Aires, until landing at Auckland on the 26th. I just hope that Santa’s sleigh is ADS-B and TCAS equipped!! :xmas:
