How did you get your username?

From a French cuss word I learned in school - Zut Alors (shoot!).

I used it first as a network BBS handle more than 20 years ago and it's stuck. I use it for pretty much all my internet stuff, so if you ever see it, give me a shout - it's probably me (or the ###### that hijacked my ICQ account!)

My username is just my first name - nothing too exciting.

I used to play chess as well

Mine has developed over the years, starting as Binky - taken from Terry Pratchett "and death rode a horse called Binky". I then got a girlfriend and it went to Binky-G or BinkyG - depending on whether the Gf was with me or not (used on IRC where tons of people used Binky).

When I broke up with her I decided I needed to change it again, and went with Binkles. My backup one is Gaspode - the talking dog.
