I took a few minutes away from my books and thought I'd post some rubbish........ feel free to join in.

This is my aeroplane. There are many like it, but this one is mine.
It is my life. I must master it as I must master my life.
Without me my aeroplane is useless. Without my aeroplane, I am useless.
I must fly my aeroplane true.
I must fly straight and level because gravity is trying to kill me.
I must overcome him before he overcomes me. I will.
My aeroplane and I know that what counts in flight is not the hours we fly, the crackle of our radio, or the sweet noise we make. We know that it is how we fly that counts.
We will touch down on airfields gently.

My aeroplane is human, even as I am human, because it is my life. Thus, I will learn it as a brother.
I will learn its weaknesses, its strengths, its parts, its accessories, its instruments and its engine.
I will keep my aeroplane clean and ready, even as I am clean and ready. We will become part of each other.

Before the CFI I swear this creed. My aeroplane and I are the defenders of my flying dream. We endeavour to be the masters of our skies.

So be it, until a PPL, CPL, IR, ME & an ATPL is mine and there be no more text books to read....... until a type rating come along winkyy.gif
' Have you ever notice that the experts who decree that the age of the pilot is over are people who have never flown anything? In spite of the intensity of their feelings that the pilot's day is over I know of no expert who has volunteered to be a passenger in a non-piloted aircraft..'
