Robert has crafted an accurate Beech King Air B200 cockpit, based on FS2004. Like most home cockpits, it isn't finished yet, (and are any of them ever really finished??) but it certainly gives the impression that you are sitting in a real King Air.
You can take a look at Robert's website here. He is hoping to have the sim certified for training.
Ian took it for a blat over Christchurch, and did a great job, but I found the whole yoke-and-pedals experience a bit too different, so managed to plow into the runway at NZCH. Oh, well.
Having said that, I was pretty inspired by this sim, and my head is full of a lot of ideas to build something similar, even if I don't have the skills that Robert has, having designed and built most of it himself.
This is a much more manageable size that the Flight Experience 737, and not nearly as overwhelming, so it is not too off-beat for me to dream about something like it in my spare room...
