Hi Guys,

Mattnz here – I'm going to be filling in writing this monthly newsletter for Trolly while he's away in the UK.

The start of this month saw the completion of the forum transfer to the new host, and now that the moving process is 100% complete, we can thank the admin team and Alex in particular for their hard work getting this sorted.

In other flightsim news, VOZ 1.7 has been released for FS2004 which includes a photoreal Darwin city. Download your copy today at http://www.vistaoz.org

Also of note is the opening of Christian Stock's Sim Pilot Shop – http://www.simpilotshop.com , which is selling add-ons from a variety of designers including Aerosoft, Just Flight, Carenado, and of course Sim Pilot Experience.

The 'Off Topic' forum has been busy this month, after Victor_Alpha_Charlie posted five threads full of aviation related photographs from his dad's recent trip to the USA. It may take a while to browse them all, but it is well worth it; a fantastic showcase of aircraft both old, and not so old that we rarely get to see in New Zealand.

Lawrie (Snowman) has been ever busy producing his excellent sceneries at a rate almost faster than I can download them! The main ones of note this month include Stratford (NZSD), Alexandra (NZLX), and Hokitika (NZHK). He has also released a couple of airports in New Caledonia, and as always, they can be downloaded from AVSIM, along with the other fifty or so already released. Keep up the good work!

For those living in the vicinity of Tauranga, there is a discussion in the forum at the moment about a possible meet up. No date has been set as yet, but if you keep an eye out on this thread, more information should be appearing soon. Ideas for the event include a visit to the Classic Flyers Museum, and the 737 simulator at this stage. The weekend of the 12th/13th July looks most likely at the moment.

The screenshot competition is proving to be once again a hit – some amazing 'wild weather' shots have been posted, and it's going to be a hard job on deciding which one to vote for! There is still time to put a late entry in, and you could potentially win a prize courtesy this month of Carenado.

That's about all for this month. Nothing left now except to wish Andrew a safe, and pleasant journey to the other side of the world, and we hope to hear all about it as soon as you get a moment biggrin.gif

Whilst I think of it, if there is anything that anyone would like to see featured in the monthly newsletter, please feel free to send me a pm, or email mattnz@nzff.org , and I'll do my best to sort it out for you.

Regards,
Mattnz, and the NZFF Admin Team.

Nice work with the newsletter and good on ya for stepping up to the plate filling in for Trolly.
Good on ya for mentioning the TRG meetup mate. Hopefully that might drum up some extra interest in it, though there's already lots interested.
