Hi all,
It's been a very busy month here at NZFF.org, and we have a whole heap of news to bring you up to date in this letter.

Firstly, we would like to invite you to vote in the Avsim Reader's Choice Awards if you haven't already. Two kiwi organisations, Real NZ and BSMP Blue Sky Mine Productions have both been nominated in separate categories, so it would be great if they received your vote and get promoted in the world wide arena. Click here to vote.

In other news concerning Real NZ products, Real NZ Tauranga is now available for FSX, as a free upgrade to existing fs2004 Tauranga customers. Alternatively, you can purchase the CD version which now includes both FS2004 and FSX versions of Rotorua, Tauranga plus the freeware Godzone Taranaki. More details here.

In conjunction with the FSX Rotorua update, Timmo has released another FSX 5m photoreal freeware addon this month, this time being his Mount Tarawera and the Rotorua Lakes package. The download is just over 65mb is file size, and can be found at avsim under the filename "bopvolcanoes_tarawera.zip'

Another cool freeware download recently uploaded is Zac Yates' Jasta 11 repaint package, also found at avsim. He has taken the time to paint the seven Fokker Dr.1 triplane replica's from his local airfield, Omaka which came to fame at the recent "Classic Fighters' airshow. The models are very framerate friendly and make for some excellent formation flying around the Real NZ Marlborough scenery- download them here

In Multiplayer news, we have secured a server for the planned NZFF - VOZ Joint Multiplayer Night inspired by Voz Powered News, but are still looking for more members to show interest in this venture. If you are keen to participate, please make a post here to support the event.

The more observant ones of you may have noticed that Lawrie's 'NZ Retro AI Project and Airport Sceneries' forum has disappeared from the NZFF homepage. This is because we have incorporated his sub forum into the new NZFF Members' Freeware Projects sub forum, along with two new 'child' forums, being Creator2003's FS2004 Scenery and Zac's Virtual Vintage Flyers NZ support forum. The area has been developed for members who have created their own freeware addons for FS and would like to showcase their work. If you think you would like to do this for your own work, please don't hesitate to contact one of the admin (Although Alex is away on holiday at the moment) and we will try and help you out.

Also, a quick welcome to our 39 new members this month, its great to have you on board!

Finally, we hope you have already entered our monthly screenshot or video competitions and ask you to vote for your favourite in each. The polls for each one can be found pinned at the top of the relevant sub-forums for the next three days.

Cheers,
Trolly and the NZFF Admin team
