Hi Snowman,

Just been installing EVERY single one of your sceneries! A mission I can say!

Anyway, all but 2 appear to be OK.

NZGY - I have no trees at all. Just some shrubs. Now I seem to remember another of your sceneries where I had no trees.... I checked the readme and installed all of the objects and textures to "Static Objects Library". But no luck. Is there any way you can tell me the exact texture some of those trees are using? I'd like to check I have it.

NZMK - I have trees and buildings all over the airport and runway. I didn't see an exlcude file. Can you help?

NZGY..... What the sim will display in the way of trees and shrubs, depends on what texture set you have installed to replace the defaults.
Tree-X trees for example use the same file names as the FS9 default tree textures, and just replace the defaults.
Seeing as how i use the Tree-X trees, if you only have default trees, or trees from any other addon like Samoshin Trees, or Ground Environment Pro etc etc, that replace the deafults, i have no idea what trees or bushes will show in the sim.

NZMK...... Seeing as how Motueka doesnt exist in the default simulator, you could have autogen trees and buildings all over the place, once again, depending on what addons you have installed like Ground Environment Pro, Real Environment Pro, FScene, or default. These addon also change the positioning of the autogen.
PM me with your e-mail addy, and i'll send you a couple of excludes that fixed the same problem in a couple of other people's sims.............

Hi Lawrie, speaking of texture sets and trees, is there a set you can reccomend that makes kiwi trees/forests look a little more natural? I'd even be happy to pay for something to improve the look of the shrubs that seem to be lurking about in our big native forests

I've sent you a PM but I don't think the problem with NZGY is as you said.

I just tried NZFP and have the same problem. Where on your pics there is LOTS of trees I have none. Not even scrubs. I have checked the default tree textures:

treesfa.bmp
treeshw.bmp
treessp.bmp
treessu.bmp
treeswi.bmp

And there is only 1 copy of each in the FS9\textures folder. There are others but they are all in backup folders.

You could try buying "Samoshin Natural World Trees V2", by Alexy Samoshin.
Photoreal tree textures, you can change at will with a little applet, to any types you like around the globe.
Ive actually got it,......... dont ask me why im not using it,......... just never got around to re-installing it after my last fresh FS install quite a while back.
