Just uploaded to Avsim,....... Feilding Aerodrome, NZFI.

Welcome to Feilding, a small General Aviation Airport in the Manawatu Region of the lower half of the North Island of New Zealand.
The Airport is 3 nautical miles South-East of the town of Feilding, and is flanked on both sides by Palmerston North Airport NZPM closeby on one side, and Ohakea Air Base NZOH on the other side.

A few random shots during the building.............................

Downloaded, installed, flown. Excellent airfield. You have put in a lot of work into this one, Lawrie. I noticed no mesh fence. That's something I have to watch out for, especially if it is a large one. Thanks for your effort, this makes my NZ flying all the more rewarding. biggrin.gif

"Next up for New Zealand, are 2 airfields in the Manawatu area,.............
NZFI Feilding Aerodrome, and NZFP FoxPine Airpark.

FoxPine is the where the "Jabiru" is assembled, sold and serviced. The scenery is a package complete with AI Jabiru's (6 of them), a Maule, and a Cessna 172, and a traffic file for the aircraft. The flightplans are fully compatible with, and will not interfere with GNZLAP traffic in any way.
This is a team effort between myself and Charl Du Toit, who has done all the hard work for the AI part of the package.
Bill Ortis of Lionheart Creations, gave us his permission to use his flyable Jabiru model, and convert it to an AI model. The conversion was done by Charl, as were the paintjobs on them.
Needless to say, the actual airfeild scenery itself, is all my work, and will fit perfectly into the RBE 20m mesh, and the grass strip that is placed by the RBE NZ Topo Scenery.

Next up NON-NZ scenery is NWWD, Kone Airport, New Caledonia, with a number more from New Caledonia to follow."
