Hi Lawrie,
I have had to reinstall FS9 and all the sceneries again.
I seem to have problems with missing textures at some airfields (NZKT, YSNF and NZKK).
I have placed all the the RWY 12 objects into the static library Scenery to scenery and textures to textures. Same with EZ objects. I also placed all the textures that were in the NZKK texture file into the static objects texture folder as well for good measure.
I still have missing textures off most of the buildings.
Any ideas as to what is happening?

Thanks
Steve
Remember the 50-50-90 rule. Anytime you have a 50-50 chance of getting something right, there's a 90% probability you'll get it wrong!

Hi Steve.
Going by the pic, the missing textures are from EZ Large Hangers ss, by Sidney Schwartz.
If the textures are definately in the "Texture" folder of the Static Objects Library, then i would say that there is a texture double-up (or possibly more than one) in another active "Texture" folder in the sim. If the .bgl file in an active "Scenery" folder tries to call up a certain texture, and finds more than one instance of that texture in other active "Texture" folders, the sim starts "hunting", trying to make up its mind which texture its going to use from which folder. A lot of the time, it cant resolve the anomoly, and simply gives up and displays the building as a grey, untextured box.
Exerpt from the install instructions in my later sceneries............................

If you have my Kerikeri NZKK, Kaitaia NZKT, Wanganui NZWU,
or Norfolk Island YSNF sceneries installed in your Sim, it is recommended that you delete the textures from the "Texture"Â￾ folders in these sceneries after installing the above EZ Scenery libraries, to prevent blank textures occurring on some buildings due to the sim hunting through different folders for multiple copies of the same texture.
Also, for all my other sceneries that DONT have a Texture folder in them, create an empty Texture folder in the main folder.
All future sceneries will have no textures with them, unless the scenery contains photoreal or custom textures.
