We have had a major hiccup with the NZ Retro-AI files on Avsim.
Our painter has departed the FS world, and has asked all the various FS sites (Avsim etc etc) to remove ALL his work from their file libraries for whatever reasons of his own. Unfortunately, this has taken both the so far released Retro-AI packs from Avsim, as well as his own work, because his name was attached to the downloads, along with the other members of the group.
We are currently looking at options for hosting elsewhere, but in the meantime, if anybody requires the Pack #1 NAC and AirNZ 70s & 80s Aircraft, or the Pack #2 NZ Post and Cargo Aircraft, please e-mail myself or Tracy, and we will forward them to you. E-mail addys...............

It may be just me but isn't that a bit selfish?
Or is he letting you re-upload the files without his name?
I can sort of understand that though.

Some would say that it may be a bit selfish, but he has every right to do whatever he pleases with his work.
Be no different if it was me asking Avsim to remove all my files, as well as all the Airport sceneries i have in the Avsim File Library, they would also remove the Retro-AI files as well, because it contains my name as well, as having done work on it.

Sorry to hear about that, but wouldn't avsim etc etc need your permission as well? As his name wasn't the only name on it(I presume)

That would be wishfull thinking on our part,....................
Unfortunately, it doesnt work like that over at Avsim.
We may have found a solution to the problem,............ more news on that to come.................
