Just uploaded to FlightSim.com, and should be available for download from the library within 24hrs,...................

Gisborne Regional Airport, New Zealand. NZGS.

Welcome to Gisborne Regional Airport, situated on the East Coast of the North Island of New Zealand.
The airport is served by Air New Zealand Link, and is home to many aviation related businesses
including Air Gisborne Ltd.
The airport is unique, in that is it the only commercial airport in the world to have have an active main-trunk
railway line crossing over an active main runway. Trains have right-of-way over aircraft at all times.
This airport scenery is built specifically to fit within the free VLC North Island Airfields package, and requires
that you have this installed first.

Some random shots taken during the building of the scenery...........

Great work Lawrie. I've been looking forward to this one being remade for FSX.

It works really well with VLC too, so much so that I did a scenic flight around areas I'd visited in Gisborne in real life and everything was present and correct.

I am having a go at installing Lawries sceneries into P3Dv2.2 + VLC and this is the first attempt. Looks very good.
The only issue is the all the cars in the carpark have their headlights on.....I can live with that.

Nice scenery. Well done again Lawrie.

Put up a few screenies of it in P3D please. I'd be real keen to see what it looks like................

I see the open aircraft shelters dont show up in P3D, and some of the roads look like dirt instead of asphalt, but apart from that, not too bad.

Hope they have a jump-start pack handy at the terminal,..........................
Gonna be a lot of cars with flat batteries out in the carpark with all those lights left on.............. laugh.gif
