Just uploaded to FlightSim.com, and should be available for download from the file library within the next 24 hrs,........

Pukaki Airport, McKenzie Country, New Zealand. NZUK.

Welcome to Pukaki Airport, located 1.5 nm North-East of the small town of Twizel,
in the beautiful McKenzie Country region of the South Island of New Zealand.
Pukaki is home to a number of Tourist and Scenic Flight operators, including
Red Cat Biplanes, Air Safaris, The Helicopter Line, and Tekapo Helicopters.
The airport is close to Mount Cook Airport (NZMC), and Omarama Airfield (NZOA).

My sincerest thanks to CHRIS RUDGE, of REDCAT BIPLANES, for his help with information
and current real-life photographs of this airport.

A few random screenshots taken during the construction of the scenery,...............

Thank you Lawrie for another great scenery. I was staying in Twizel for a couple of days last year and thought, wouldn`t it be nice if someone turned this grass strip into a real airport. Lawrie to the rescue. rolleyes.gif
Any thoughts on re-hashing your FS9 Gisborne for FSX ?

I had thought about a full ground up fresh build of NZGS Gisborne for FSX, but theres a reasonable likeness of it contained
in the free VLC North Islands Airfield package.

Thanks Lawrie. On checking my NI Airport install I only had DA, DV, FI,HS,KO,KT,NP,TN, WR . No Gisborne. I have just downloaded and installed the later version which of course does include Gisborne and many others as well. Silly me. unsure.gif
I still like your rendition better so perhaps one day you might get around to upgrading for FSX. Gratefully Yours. Bob.

Youve got your wish,.........................
Im doing a fully detailed scenery for Gisborne.
This scenery WILL REQUIRE that you have the current free VLC North Island Airfields package, as it uses some objects from the Gisborne scenery
contained in the package.
I looked at porting my old FS9 scenery over to FSX for you, but didnt like the result much, so i decided a fresh ground up rebuild for FSX would be best.

Fantastic Lawrie. You`ve made my day . I`m sure I`m not the only one who will appreciate this scenery. Look forward to downloading when it`s ready.
And yes I DO have the current VLC package thank you.
