Welcome to Slipper Island (Whakahau) Airfield, located offshore in the Coromandel region of the
North Island of New Zealand, 4nm South-East of Pauanui Beach Airfield (NZUN).
Slipper Island is one of New Zealand’s few privately owned islands and is accessible either by
aircraft or by boat from Tairua, 6nm away on the Coromandel Peninsular.
Situated at Home Bay, on the western side of the island and alongside the
airfield and wharf, is Slipper Island Resort.
