So is anyone else going to make the new buildings or is it abbanded completely?
Anyway it should give you a chance to get some other projects completed.

I doubt if anyone else will pick up the ball,................... not for FS9 anyway.
Mike is building the new and improved versions for FSX.

Yes, i have a number of projects on the go all at once at the moment. With the loss of NZHN, it has moved the others up the list timetable wise..........

Next up for New Zealand, are 2 airfields in the Manawatu area,.............
NZFI Feilding Aerodrome, and NZFP FoxPine Airpark.

FoxPine is the where the "Jabiru" is assembled, sold and serviced. The scenery is a package complete with AI Jabiru's (7 of them), a Maule, and a Cessna 172, and a traffic file for the aircraft. The flightplans are fully compatible with, and will not interfere with GNZLAP traffic in any way.
This is a team effort between myself and Charl Du Toit, who has done all the hard work for the AI part of the package.
Bill Ortis of Lionheart Creations, gave us his permission to use his flyable Jabiru model, and convert it to an AI model. The conversion was done by Charl, as were the paintjobs on them.
Needless to say, the actual airfeild scenery itself, is all my work, and will fit perfectly into the RBE 20m mesh, and the grass strip that is placed by the RBE NZ Topo Scenery.

Next up NON-NZ scenery is NWWD, Kone Airport, New Caledonia, with a number more from New Caledonia to follow.

The new NZWU Wanganui, and the NZVR Taihape scenery, will be released in conjunction with, and at the same time, as another "special" addon.
The 3 will REQUIRE each other to work properly.
There will be more details of this "special" addon later in the week, and possibly a video "teaser".

Sadly,............. no.
The man that was going to do the photoreal buildings themselves, is no longer working with FS9.
The project has been abandoned.

Just putting the finishing touches to NZOA Omarama now.
Scenery not only includes the airfield, but the whole town of Omarama as well !
There will also be another "surprise" to go with NZOA Omarama.....................

Also working on NZSL Springhill, and NZAS Ashburton for New Zealand, and NWWK Koumac for New Caledonia.

NZSL Springhill should be up on Avsim by this weekend.
NZOA Omarama is undergoing final testing.
NZAS Ashburton, still under construction.
NWWK Koumac Airport, New Caledonia, still under construction.

Also under construction for New Zealand are NZKF Kaipara Flats, and NZMO Manapouri Airport.
The Manapouri scenery will reflect the 7 million dollar upgrade done to it in 2007.

Also under construction,........

NZTK Takaka Airfield, in beautiful Golden Bay, ..... and NZKM Karamea Airfield.
Both the northern and southern "gateways" to the scenic beauty of Able Tasman National Park, and both served by direct flights from Wellington and Nelson by Capital Air.

Just an update on whats happening with my sceneries.............

NZOA Omarama is FINISHED,....... just awaiting the finishing of a surprise package to go with it.................

NZKM Karamea is 99% complete.

NZTK Takaka is 90% complete.

NZMO Manapouri Airport is well into construction, and WILL have a custom model of the real terminal building with the scenery.
As i said previously, this scenery will reflect the 7 million dollar upgrade the airport had last year, when it was officialy re-opened in October 2007.

NZKF Kaipara Flats is about 25% complete.

NZAS Ashburton is about 20% complete.

NWWK Koumac Airport (New Caledonia) is about 70% complete.

NZKM Karamea will have a traffic file with it, for those that have the HTAI Cessna's AI Package (payware), that creates a few "tourist" flights back and forth between NZKM and NZTK, to give the area a little AI interest ( its BARE at the moment).
