Going from strength to strength there Lawrie ......I'm almost converted to FSX ....but NO not yet....need a computer upgrade to get the fluidity I currently enjoy in FS9.
Remember the 50-50-90 rule. Anytime you have a 50-50 chance of getting something right, there's a 90% probability you'll get it wrong!

Glad to see my models getting used again ,had forgotten id converted them to FSX ,i think my standard of modelling has come a little further now since these and not so rushed ,think i built this over a week period but looks alot better with your extra details now .

Yes Mike,....... you have come a very long and impressive way since then.
They look better in FSX than they ever did in FS9, particularly if you have "Global Texture Resolution" in FSXs settings, set to maximum.
The scenery will fill a gap nicely, until someone comes along with something better.............

I've got a bit of a problem with the ground bleeding through runway 23, theres no flatten in that corner of the airfeild.

There sure is a flatten there.
The yellow colour in the pic below is the flattened areas.

Did you place the BGL file named "AFX_NZNP_ALT.bgl" into FSX /Scenery / World / Scenery ???
This reinforces the elevation levels.
If you have done that, then try making a copy of the AFCAD (AFX_NZNP.bgl) thats in NZNPs :Scenery" folder into the above mentioned folder.

Works fine on my system - tried really hard to make it happen (DX9 and DX10 preview) ... but it's fine. There's a turning area polygon there ...

Just a reminder for those that downloaded the VLC airport pack which includes a version of NP- You will need to disable this version as well as the flatten- See the included readme file for instructions smile.gif

Great work Lawrie!

You are too modest Lawrie. I live in New Plymouth and I can`t see how anyone could better what you have done with this airport.
It is so realistic , everything in its correct place and I love the animations. Thank you so much for another of your great sceneries,

Bob.
