Just uploaded to my website,................ Napier Regional Airport, NZNR. ( version-2).

Welcome to Napier , situated in the Hawkes Bay region of the East Coast of the North Island of New Zealand.
The airport serves the City of Napier and its surrounding towns, and the greater Hawkes Bay area.
It is home to the newly constructed Hawkes Bay Air Ambulance Centre, Air Napier Ltd,
Flight Care Ltd, Heli-Air Hawkes Bay, Farmers Air , and a number of other aviation related businesses.
It is also home to the Napier Aero Club, and the Hawkes Bay Microlight Club.

This scenery depicts the airport as it is in September 2009, where the new Air Ambulance Base has
just finished construction. The scenery is very detailed, and features many custom buildings and objects.

Well maybe it is time Lawrie pulled it out of the hangar cleaned the dust and cobwebs off it fueled it up and fired it up before he forgets how much better than FS9 it really is or is it his PC needs a big upgrade to run FSX if that is the case then maybe we should be giving him donations for his work so he can upgrade to a super computer.

If I were him, I'd wait till Windows7 is out then start with a nice clean machine winkyy.gif

I wonder how easy it'd be to set up a Paypal account and then some "Donate $5" buttons ... or ... he releases scenery as "Donationware".

#1 "How much better FSX is than FS9",....... thats a matter of opinion ! ...................

#2 "or is it his PC needs a big upgrade to run FSX".............. The answer to that one is a very simple ......... NO !!

PC Specs..........

AMD Phenom 64 "Black Label Edition" 9950 Quad Core
4 GB Kingston DDR3 RAM
2 GB ATI-Radeon HD4870-X2 Video Card
2x 1 TB Seagate SATA-2 HDDs.
2x 22X Asus SATA DVD-RWs.
and the list goes on,.........................

Well and truly able to run "the Dark Side" with ease, ( and has done)...........

Barry used the right word,................. "Discerning",...........
Its my choice to stay with FS9,............ Considering the amount of $$$ ive poured into payware addons ( particularly scenery), since i got FS9 in October 2003, and a lot of those wont work in FSX (some will, i have tried),...... for an overall immersive experience for me,......FSX cant hold a candle to my very custom sceneried FS9 world.

I was going to build for BOTH sims,........ but the demand for FS9 stuff is still there. I still get loads of requests via PMs., e-mails, and messages from my website as well, from people all over the world,...... no different to a lot of other freeware scenery makers i would imagine.
Unfortunately, a lot of them i have to turn down, i just dont have the time, and defiantely dont have the time for both sims !!
I have done MANY other sceneries in various parts of the world, that were requests, that have never been uploaded to anywhere, as they were personal requests.
As an example, im currently building a number of airports and airfields in the Northern Cascades area of Washington State, in the USA.

One day,............ you never know,........ the dust MAY get blown off FSX,.................... unless i decide to change camps and go for X-Plane.

Looks good Lawrie. I must say I do find sorting out whether or not I have all the required static object library items a bit of a mission now......getting to be a long list smile.gif
Remember the 50-50-90 rule. Anytime you have a 50-50 chance of getting something right, there's a 90% probability you'll get it wrong!
